Ingredients cheesy tortilla chips


5 tortillas
1 egg white
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheese of your liking Colby jack and cheddar work well
1/2 tbsp jalapeƱos finely chopped.

Preheat oven to 425°F.


Beat the egg white in a small bowl, lightly brush tortilla with egg white. I fix these right in the baking sheet or pizza stone for easy cleanup


Sprinkle tortilla with cayenne pepper, add cheese, then jalapeƱo.


Cut each tortilla into eighths, and arrange on baking sheet/stone.


Bake for 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Run a pizza cutter through previous cuts to slice through cheese ***Note I added a bit too much cheese which made them a little soggy so I let them cool to the touch, rearranged again, then popped back into the oven for a nice crunchy chip.


Serve alone, with salsa, or your favorite dip.....Enjoy!!!
