Ingredients bubble and squeek cakes with kale and bacon


2 cup mashed potatoes
1 1/2 cup kale cooked and chopped
4 slice bacon cooked and chopped
1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt & pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp butter

Mix all ingredients except butter. Mix well to combine. Mixture will be thick.


In a large skillet melt butter over medium high heat. Form patties 2 at a time in the skillet and press down with a spatula.


Brown patties on both sides for about 3 to 4 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.


Serve as a side or by themselves. Enjoy!
