watermelon sorbet

Ingredients watermelon sorbet


1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup light corn syrup
2 cup pureed watermelon
1 tbsp lemon juice

how to make watermelon sorbet


Combine sugar, water and syrup in a sauce pan and stir until it boils.


Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool in the refigerator.


Cut up watermelon, discarding the seeds. Puree in a food processor.


Measure and add 3 cups of watermelon an lemon to the cold sugar, water and syrup mixture.


Pour into ice cream maker for 20 -30 minutes.
