Ingredients european brownies
250 grams unsweetened chocolate
55 grams cocoa powder (unsweetened)
250 grams granulated sugar
140 grams unsalted butter
3 large eggs
3 grams salt
160 grams all-purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
70 grams chopped walnuts
how to make european brownies
Melt butter and chocolate together in a bain-marie (double saucepan), remove from heat
Add cocoa powder and stir to avoid lumps, allow to cool
In a bowl beat eggs together with sugar, salt and vanilla extract
Now slowly add flour (to this last eggs+sugar+salt mix) and keep stirring
Add also melted chocolate and butter to the same bowl
When the mixture is homogenous add walnuts
Line a square baking pan with parchment paper and grease it
Put your homemade mix in the pan and cook for 35 minutes at 180°C
Let the brownie rest for an hour then take it out of the pan and cut in squares!
