Ingredients chocolate pretzel rods or magic wands for the kids

1 packages Semi sweet chocolate chips
1 packages white chocolate chips
1 bag pretzel rods
1 * Candy sprinkles if desired

how to make chocolate pretzel rods or magic wands for the kids

Line cookies sheets with wax paper

Melt semi sweet chocolate chips in a heavy sauce pan over very low heat stirring constantly when melted through take off heat and stir

Melt the white chocolate chips the same way as step 2 in another heavy sauce pan

Pour the semi sweet chocolate into a tall heavy mug or cup and dip each pretzel rod in half way in and let excess drip off back into mug

Lay dipped pretzels on cookie sheet

Useing a spoon drizzle white chocolate onto pretzels and lightly coat with sprinkles if useing

Place cookies sheets in freezer for a hour or so to set chocolate on pretzels

I like to store them in the refrigerator in a covered container

Notes: You can dip them in white chocolate and drizzle with the semi sweet chocolate and sometimes I crush up peppermint sticks or nuts and coat the pretzels instead of useing sprinkles and sometimes I leave them plain. Also you can roll the pretzels in the chocolate if thats easier than dipping them.
