Ingredients chicken and waffles waffle battered chicken
1 Chicken in pieces
2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 Egg
1 cup Buttermilk

Rinse chicken in cold water and place in a bowl with buttermilk, cover and refrigerate 30 minutes to overnight.
Combine 1 cup flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, vanilla, egg, and milk in a bowl or Ziplock bag.
Drain buttermilk from chicken and dredge in the other cup of flour. Dip into batter and deep fry in heated oil for 20 minutes. Drain.
